BitScope WaveMeter | Production Release NotesVersion 1.0This page contains release notes for the production versions of BitScope WaveMeter. WaveMeter provides a set of AC Peak, RMS & Min/Max voltmeters, a DC mean/offset voltmeter and a sophisticated autocorrelation based frequency meter in one application. It is compatible with all BitScope models released since BS300 in 2003. WaveMeter is available for Windows XP, Vista or 7 or Linux. This production version may be downloaded free of charge and is also included on CD-ROM shipped with all current model BitScopes. Just click the buttons on the left for your operating system to download. This version is for use in production environments. If you want the latest features and don't mind a few bugs you can choose to use development versions instead. WaveMeter Production Releases

WaveMeter 1.0 | Initial Production Release2010-02-05 This is the first production release of BitScope WaveMeter which incorporates the many of the suggestions made by BitScope DSO users and our beta testers during its development. Originally conceived as a replacement for an AC/DC voltmeter, WaveMeter has since evolved into a powerful waveform analysis system. The primary design goal for WaveMeter was ease of use in practical measurement situations. Most operations are automatic, simply connect the signal and read the results. WaveMeter is cross-platform and available for Windows 7, Vista, XP, and most popular Linux distributions including Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, RedHat, SuSe and Mandrake. It is theme aware so its appearance depends on your operating system but its operation is the same on all systems. An update supporting Mac OSX is coming (check development page for news). Details of bug fixes included in this release may be viewed here. |
