BitScope Logic | Production Release NotesVersion 1.0This page contains release notes for the production versions of BitScope Logic. Logic is a serial protocol analyzer. It is also a logic analyzer and mixed signal auto-ranging oscilloscope. Logic captures up to eight logic and four analog signals simultaneously and displays them on a familar logic timing display. Up to eight (logic) channels may have protocol decoders applied to decode serial data on those signals with decoded data shown on the display and the packet inspector. Timing and other measurements may be made on each channel and between logic and analog channels. Logic is compatible with all current BitScope models and is available for Windows, Linux and Macintosh. It is included on CD-ROM with all new BitScopes and may be downloaded online (free of charge, see below) for existing owners of recent models. This version is for use in production environments. If you want the latest features and don't mind a few bugs you can choose to use development versions instead. Logic 1.0 is not compatible with all BitScope Pocket AnalyzersPlease download and use BitScope Logic 1.1 for these models.BitScope Logic Production Releases

Keep it coming because we plan more updates over the coming weeks and months. BitScope Logic 1.0 | Initial Release | BF29A2011-07-04 This is the first release of the BitScope Logic mixed signal protocol analyzer for BitScope. Logic captures, displays and decodes logic and analog signals connected to BitScope's POD inputs. Version 1.0 supports SPI, I2C, CAN and RS-232 protocols and data formats. It may also be used for standard logic timing analysis. Up to 4 analog channels may also be captured simultaneously for mixed signal analysis and cross-triggers between analog and logic channels are supported on most models. Logic is easy to use. One usually just points, clicks, zooms or drags with a mouse. Capture controls are all on screen and keyboard short-cuts are used for common operations. Decoder operation is automatic but protocol configuration dialogs are available for customization. Downloadable versions of this software for existing BitScope owners will be made available soon. |
