Over 30% of the ProtoPOD PCB is allocated to the 20 x 13 array of pads for your prototype circuit.

The pads are connected in a pattern to suit wiring either 300mil or 600mil DIP ICs.

There are 5 common rails, 80 pad pairs and VCC/GND connection pads.

The array also has a built-in ground plane to make it possible to build HF designs.

On the left side of the array is a 20 x 2 header for connecting to external I/O.

On the right side of the array are 10 x 2 and 9 x 2 headers for connecting to the 20 pin general purpose socket and the 18 pin PIC socket.
